In my very first undergrad design class, my clearly hungover professor told us that when we graduate, we are not going to be doctors, we won’t be engineers or architects. He told us our contributions to the world would be a bunch of flowery words and pretty images.
Almost a decade of experience later, my life feels like a showreel of the love/hate relationship I have with advertising and copy. There’s a reason why it’s my longest one.
Which is why on most days, I feel like my professor but some days I feel like I am changing the world.
